Discover French Art Nouveau - Saturday 15th September
I V Y paris invites you to a two-hour tour of the architectural chefs-d'oeuvres of the 16th Arrondissement.
Hector Guimard, the high priest of French Art Nouveau, famous for his design of the green iron work Metro entrances, lived in this part of Paris for more than 40 years. He designed exceptional villas and residential buildings, notably the outstanding "Castle Béranger". Le Corbusier and Robert Mallet-Stevens built avant-garde villas not far away. Touring the interior of le Corbusier's renowned Villa La Roche, before a year-long closing, will be an added plus for our walk. Limited to the first 10 people who respond 12 euros - please contact I V Y Paris as soon as possible.
