Journees de Patrimoine

09Saturday, September 15 and Sunday September 16, 2007

This year, les Journees de Patrimoine (the National Heritage Days) will celebrate the jobs that care for, protect, conserve and restore cultural artifacts, opening doors of historical buildings to the public for a better understanding and appreciation of the work that goes on behind them.
Operas, palaces, theatres, castles, museums... will grant free entry, giving us the perfect opportunity to take a peek at their perfectly preserved interiors.
Among the list participating edifices; l'Atelier de restauration et de conservation des photographies de la ville de Paris, la Cite de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine, and the Musee d'Art moderne de la ville de Paris.

To see when and what's going on near you, check out the map.
