Upcoming European Art Fairs
Art-o-Rama, Marseille
15-22 sept
Art-O-Rama aims to help discover the most promising international creation by inviting five prospective galleries to each present a 'concept stand' conceived by their artists combining new works specially produced for the event. Featured galleries this year are: la B.A.N.K (Paris), Sur Mesure (Brussels), Nogueras Blanchard (Barcelona), Luxe Gallery (New York), and Schleicher+Lange (Paris).
Docks Art Fair, Lyon
17-23 sept
The first edition of the Docks Art Fair will take place during the inaugural week of the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale's notable location, "La Sucrière”. Under a tent expressly set up at the docks along the banks of the Saône River, 40 international galleries will choose and present a single artist. The specificity of the fair rests in the singular approach: exclusively solo shows.
Art Forum, Berlin
29 Sept - 3 October
Organized by Messe Berlin GmbH in cooperation with an international art gallery advisory board, ART FORUM BERLIN is one of the most innovative, world-class art shows. For the fourth time since 2004, ART FORUM BERLIN will feature a special exhibition on 2,000 m2, this year curated by Ami Barak, Artistic Director of the Art Department of the City of Paris and, until 2002 Director of the FRAC Languedoc-Roussillon in Montpellier. His exhibition House Trip, with up to 40 artists, focuses on the intimate relationship between art, architecture and design resulting from a growing artistic interest in modernism and investigates the blurring boundaries between private and public.

Frieze, London
Frieze Art Fair takes place every October in Regent's Park, London, featuring over 150 of the most exciting contemporary art galleries in the world and specially commissioned projects.
