The Democrats Abroad can help you register to vote, and I thank them for their help. They do not, however, only allow you to register Democrat, for Pete's sakes.

Try the truly nonpartisan site that offers a heck of a lot more services. In addition to having an automated voter registration tool, it provides a knowledge base, a help desk and a list of state specific deadlines: www.overseasvotefoundation.org with a choice of four entry portals including Youth Vote Overseas and a site for low bandwidth users.

P.S. I just noticed that the link in the original posting titled "vote foundation" is the Overseas Vote Foundation!
Youth Vote Overseas has a contest going with 18 in '08. Maybe someone creative can enter with a more funky take on the subject. See http://yvo.overseasvotefoundation.org

Yeah, I also found that a bit curious that Democrats Abroad will only help other Democrats register? Do they make you show an absentee ballot, "correctly completed" before they let you register? I have a feeling that they are probably willing to register all voters, in the spirit of true democracy...
