The Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain is back for their 8th edition, coming full force with both well known and emerging Contemporary artists and designers.
Performances will also be taking place for the event, featuring artists Franz Erhard Walther, Scoli Acosta, Tony Conrad,
Aurélien Froment, Jérôme Bel, Rodney Graham, Jeremy Deller, Xavier Le
Roy… in collaboration with the Auditorium du Louvre and the Jeu de
Paume.

Exposing, nearly 40 contemporary art galleries

In 2008 Show Off is back again, as convivial, dynamic and idiosyncratic as ever. The fair still maintains its charming, relaxed atmosphere with the arrival of new international galleries and keeps the focus on cutting-edge-art content. Participants include Galerie Magda Danysz, Galerie Bailly Contemporain, and Grusenmeyer Art Gallery.

Slick 08

Slick 08 is a meeting place between the art enthusiasts, the curious and the professionals around contemporary art in progress - including painting, sculpture, drawings, installations and video - and with particular attention given to new technologies. Also look out for their expo on lowriders in association with the East Riddaz Art Club.
Also a place for exchanging ideas, gallery owners and artists will carry out performances. Full program here.

For this new edition of « Art Elysées » galleries will benefit from a prestigious location. The luxury shop windows and facades of the Champs-Elysées will showcase works of art (painting, sculptures and photography) bearing the most celebrated signatures of today’s artists.

ArtistBook International
October 24-26
ArtistBook International (A.B.I.) regroups fortysome editors and international publications at the Centre Pompidou. Find limited edition prints, rare books, and free magazines. Meetings with artists, performances, film projections will take place for the event. Featured in their catalogue, A.B.I. presents Japanese artist and composer Ryoji Ikeda and French artist Virginie Yassef.

DiVA
Digital Video Art Fair Paris 2008
October 23-26
DiVA Paris presents a selection of 24 international galleries that have dedicated special attention to the works of video and digital media artists. The new format allows galleries to show their special pieces in a conventional art fair booth. However, to maintain DiVA's special identity you'll find black carpet and black walls throughout the entire venue.
