CAMAC, Marnay Art Center Residency Program

The artist in residence program at CAMAC aims to bring together artists in mid or advanced career stages from all countries and all disciplines (writing, painting, sculpture, architecture, design, multimedia and video art, new technologies, installation art, music, dance, etc.) for a concentrated period of one to six months.

This program aims to support residents in their creative explorations, investigations, and personal growth in an environment of communication and exchange. With its location in Marnay-sur-Seine, participants can benefit from the French countryside without being cut off from the cosmopolitan richness of Paris.

The center also helps you in any possible way in your search for funding. Requests for specific equipment must be made when applying. Applications available for download here.

CAMAC also offers UNESCO-Aschberg Bursaries, a program which offers residencies to young artists worldwide between the ages 25 and 35. The next call will be in September 2009 for bursaries in 2010, check regularly on the center's site for information on the application procedure.
